Great Presentation- Empty Plate

Why is it that 97% of network marketers fail? There are millions of what is being called "Opportunity" every where you look. Our email is flooded with them, banners, pop ups, seems like they're everywhere we go. So why isn't everyone wealthy.

OK! if 97% fail, why don't I just pack it in right now?
Lets take a look at why these statistics are so high. Why they fail and what can change this percentages.
Why is everyone pushing an "Opportunity" in our face everywhere we go?
Why, because this is what they are told to do. First thing they tell you is call your family,friends,relatives,and everyone in your contacts. Now your family and friend run every time they see you coming. This is the recruit syndrome. Recruit, Recruit,Recruit, and then Recruit some more.

The reason that all this recruiting is going on is because most need a minimum of 2500 personally sponsored people in your down line to make any real money from the compensation plan. This drives the behavior of the representative (your sponsor) to stay busy "sponsoring" more recruits, Not helping you build your Business (down line).

Wheres the Product!
In the presentation they tell me about this great product, let's call it a nutritional drink. Retails for $80.00 a bottle. (we'll call this company A.) For every bottle you sell you get $4.00(residual income), for every one you sponsor you get a $25.00 bonus + $3.00 per bottle they purchase on auto ship.(you get this one time)
You sign up pay your setup fee,and registration fee.and a fee for your "kit" because they tell you of this great product that you can sell, and they will teach you everything you need to know (up line support) and a web site to sell it through. they give you this great "Back Office" that know you have to pay $19.95 every month for.

You got it made now!
Now you can go check out this great selling web site that the give you, and you can't figure out how to find the product. Don't worry it's there it just takes a while to find that little link on the right side of the page, but it's there. Everything there is about the opportunity of joining the company.Now your in the Recruiting business, because this is the behavior of the company.

Heres the product!
Now lets look at company "B". This company also has a nutritional drink (also has lots of other products) to sell. Company "B" sells their drink for $40.00 a bottle and pays its reps $16.00 a bottle (40%). Now to compare, remember company "A" retails for $80.00 and pays $4.00, company "B" retails for $40.00 and pays you $16.00. So we want to look at $80.00 sale to match company "A". Now on an $80.00 sale with company "A" pays $4.00 to you, on the same $80.00 sale company "B" pays you $32.00. Now the insensitive in company "B" is to sell the product. Company "B" gives you 7 web sites each design specifically to show and sell a different product, and one to use for signing up your recruits. A company with integrity. The business model drives the behavior in the field.
Company "A" you would need 2500 personally sponsored people in you down line to make $10,000 a month. Company "B" you only need 350 personally sponsored people to make $10,000 a month. Which compensation plan would you pick?

learn HOW to think, not What to think
If more people would learn How to think, the percentages of failure would drop drastically. Learn how to look for and discern policy's and procedures, compensation plans, and have a up line that teaches and supports. All sounds good but are there companies out there like that?
